This spring, 1775 Peacemakers Charity is proud to launch our Veterans Outreach Initiative — a comprehensive program designed to connect veterans in the Greater Houston area with the resources, support, and community they deserve.
A Community Effort
The initiative brings together local veterans service organizations, healthcare providers, and community volunteers to create a one-stop resource fair held monthly at locations across Baytown and Crosby.
At our inaugural event in March, over 45 veterans received assistance with VA benefits navigation, housing referrals, employment resources, and peer counseling connections.
What's Included
• Monthly veterans coffee meetups for peer connection
• Care package distribution with hygiene essentials and thank-you notes
• Partnership with local VA office for benefits enrollment assistance
• Transportation assistance for veterans attending medical appointments
• Quarterly recognition ceremonies honoring service members
How You Can Help
We are actively seeking volunteers and donors to expand this program. A $50 donation funds a complete veterans care package, and volunteer shifts are available every Saturday. Contact us to get involved or make a donation today.
